The Match Day Volunteers gathered at Polson today for a Celebratory Carvery Lunch to thank long time Match Day Manager Susan Jamieson and to wish her well in her new role in the coming season as the President of Launceston Rugby Club, a role which will prove even more demanding than her managerial one.
Susan has worked tirelessly at the Club emanating the dedication and enthusiam shown by her late husband Jeff. She has been inspirational and led her army of match day volunteers with lots of new ideas - indeed she leaves behind her own legacy. She today handed over her iconic "people clicker" to Kevin who will now continue the good work on match days - and no doubt many other days as well.
We all welcome Susan to her new role as President of the Club and thank her for all her hard work and good humour over the past years.
