CORNISH ALL BLACKS -v- LYDNEY  3 pm kick off

LAUNCESTON LADIES -v- BUDE 6 pm kick off

Rugby returns properly to Polson with SPONSORS’ DAY this coming Saturday 16th September.

We are delighted to welcome new main club Sponsors BRADFORDS LAUNCESTON

And are sure they and you will be entertained with a sparkling display of rugby throughout the day. With that in mind it only seems fitting to go one step further and make a day of it with entry 2 for the price of 1….

All our wonderful sponsors are a really key element to the success of our club including the men’s and the ladies teams. We shall be featuring different sponsors throughout the year to make sure that our supporters support them!

It goes without saying that – 50/50 draw will give you an opportunity to win too, the bar will be open and The Coffee Pot will be on hand with a great new menu.

Lydney make the long trip down to Polson after having just beaten Ivybridge at home last Saturday and we will ensure a proper Polson welcome for them this week.

So – the Cornish All Blacks are at home for the first time this season in the league. After an impressive first day away win at Ivybridge on their G4 pitch and with only 14 men for all but 20 minutes of the game and then last week they travelled to Weston Super Mare and by all accounts negated the efforts of the home forwards and came away with this time a 4 try win. Youngster Jamie Chapman touched down for his first try in senior colours and Cam Fogden kept up his try scoring exploits with a close range effort.

The evening game shows the Ladies who have just returned from a brilliant three header against Plymstock Albion Oaks Ladies and Topsham Ladies – click here for some fantastic memories of the day – and make sure you stay to cheer on the Ladies against Bude this Saturday.

Also the World Cup is happening so - be down at the Club to watch  4.45pm  - Wales  v Portugal on the big screen - then watch the Ladies, then watch 8.00pm - Ireland v Tonga -= so that is a very fully and busy schedule down at Polson.

Also THE CASTLES are away to ST AUSTELL with a 2.30 pm kick off - and the COLTS are away to Camborne kicking off at 2 pm.  What a day!
