Best laid plans and all that - After last week's postponements with a frozen pitch we are hoping to provide some really special games this week.

BUT THE COLTS' GAME IS CANCELLED due to waterlogged pitch. At the moment the CABs' game still going ahead on main pitch.

The Cornish All Blacks are at home at Polson against Weston Super Mare with a 3 pm kick off BUT before that the Colts have a home League match against Redruth kicking off at 12.30 pm and - hey it's Christmas so we might just be playing some Christmas music over the tannoy so you can get the festive spirit.  Of course the bar will be open and The Coffee Pot will be offering their usual fabulous food. The prize for the lucky programme is again kindly donated by Dave Robinson, as as it's Christmas he is donating a bottle of port.

The sponsors this week are new visitors to Polson - so we are delighted to welcome G F Gubbins now part of Denise Wellington, your local Funeral Directors, to sample our hospitality. Denise Wellington and family started their business in 2015 and 7 years on from opening the business, the Summer of 2022 saw an unexpected opportunity come their way. Mr Garfield Gubbin of G F Gubbin Funeral Directors, Launceston, informed them of his decision to retire, and wished for his legacy to continue in the best possible hands, and in his eyes, that was with the Wellington family. Gubbins didn't have a website so have been welcomed into the existing one. So Launceston are thrilled to welcome them down to Polson.

The CABs are currently fourth in the league whilst Weston are lying twelfth so we are really hoping for a points scoring home win - come down and enjoy the afternoon and cheer our boys to victory.

The Castles are away to Camborne with a 2.30 kick off. Camborne are second in the league at the moment and Launceston are fourth six points behind so all the play for. The Ladies take a break until their league game against Bude on 17th December.

The Lanson Suite is fully booked again this week.

Don't forget that our Club Shop in the Conservatory will be open for those of you looking for an extra special Christmas present!
