Last Thursday (6th Oct) saw the Player of the Month Awards for September and the first of the season.

Try of the Month came courtesy of James Tucker's finish against Old Cents. This was very much a team effort and what was so impressive was the accuracy in the build up to create a much sought after mismatch - then it was over to James to glide his way through the gap.

Trainer of the Month was Mark Knight and 2nd Team Player of the Month was the dynamic forward, Jack Swain.

1st Team Player of the Month  is Charlie Tummons (unfortunately not pictured as he's away continuing his Uni studies). Charlie is the first recipient of the Coffee Pot, Launceston sponsoring the Award. The Coffee Pot has taken on the catering at the Club and they have made a wonderful impression and pride themselves on their home cooked, high quality food - all at a great prices and we are looking at the partnership developing over the coming seasons. Thursday night was Mexican themed with some stunning tacos, chilli, nachos and fajitas for the boys. They are located in White Hart Arcade and provide meals, hot drinks and snacks daily.

This weekend sees the 1st team travel to Devonport Services and the Castles host Perranporth in a top of the table clash for Cornwall League 3!
