Nearly two thirds of the season complete & last night was the December/January Player of the Month Awards. No prizes for guessing who won Try of the Month!! Shaun Crawford's winner coming from his one man effort v Ivybridge where he beat what felt like half the Ivybridge backline along the right wing. Trainer of the Month was Jon Dawe (first time of entry and first time win - not a bad success rate) and 2nd Team Player of the Month was all action back rower, Pete Bebbington. 1st Team Player of the Month, with his second award of the night is twinkle-toed winger Shaun Crawford (pictured with his wonderful supply of cakes from Han's Cakes, Callington ) Hannah has been kindly donating a great batch of brownies, cheesecakes, blondies and shortbreads to encourage the boys to do their best on the pitch. A fabulous way to get into your Valentine's good books no doubt!! The players enjoyed a fabulous chinese meal from local favourite - The Panda House.
This weekend sees the 1st team take the fairly long journey to central Gloucester and play Old Centralians and the 2s are away to St Just.
