“Another Busy Sunday”
As Fixtures secretary of the Mini/Juniors section, every week is challenging to say the least, being so near to the Devon border as a club we can access all of Cornwall and Devon for fixtures, usually we have (Cornwall) a pre season fixtures meeting where all the club secretaries get together and fill in our fixture dates.
However some teams further down Cornwall will not travel to Launceston as they find it “too far to travel “ ? So the gaps are filled with Devon Clubs, the different venues each week is an eye opener for us , with different locations of Pitches and Club house and changing rooms (if any!)
Luckily here at Polson our facilities are well accepted by visiting teams, who pass on to touring sides who pass through on thier way to Cornwall, I’ve got teams visiting from Wales and Gloucester next year.
