Last night (7th April) saw the Player of the Month Awards for March. We had a new winner of the Try of the Month, with Jack Statton's first try for the club being voted. This was superb team effort, with excellent interplay and driving runs by the forwards before quick and slick passing by the backs put Jack away to grab his try versus Camborne and seal the victory and spot in the Cornwall Cup Final. Trainer of the Month was Lev Bulut and 2nd Team Player of the Month was the dynamic forward, Jake Crabb. 1st Team Player of the Month, was Daniel Pearce (pictured with his wonderful supply of cakes from Han's Cakes, Callington https://www.hanscakes.co.uk/) Hannah has been kindly donating a great batch of brownies, cheesecakes, blondies and shortbreads to encourage the boys to do their best on the pitch. A fabulous way to get into your loved one's books this Easter!! The players enjoyed a fabulous indian meal from local favourite - Sagor
This weekend sees the 1st team visit Drybrook before their Cornwall Cup Final date, with St Austell on Sat 16th April (17:00 kick-off at Redruth's recreation ground).
