Last Thursday (10th March) saw the Player of the Month Awards for February. For the second month on the bounce and Try of the Month came courtesy of Shaun Crawford's finish against Old Reds. This was very much a team effort and what was so impressive was the patience & accuracy in the build up to create a much sought after mismatch - then it was over to Shaun to power his way through the gap and a couple of tackles.
Trainer of the Month was Charlie Tummons and 2nd Team Player of the Month was the dynamic forward, Alex Bartlett. 1st Team Player of the Month, with his second award of the night is Charlie Tummons (pictured with his wonderful supply of cakes from Han's Cakes, Callington https://www.hanscakes.co.uk/) Hannah has been kindly donating a great batch of brownies, cheesecakes, blondies and shortbreads to encourage the boys to do their best on the pitch. A fabulous way to get into your Mum's good books no doubt, with Mother's Day coming up soon!! The players enjoyed a fabulous Kebab, burger and pizza meal from local favourite - Yummies
This weekend (19th March) sees the 1st team host Pirate Amateurs in the quarter-final of the Cornwall Cup and the 2s are away to Helston.
