We’re delighted to welcome Tage Jenkins back to Launceston Rugby Club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Tage first joined the club as a Colt, but his introduction to senior rugby was cruelly cut short. After the Covid-hit season, he stepped into men’s rugby only to suffer an ACL injury just three games into his senior career.
Now, after four years away from the game, he’s back with unfinished business.
💬 “I returned after four years because I missed the game, the team and the challenge. The road back wasn’t easy, but every setback made me more determined. It feels good to finally be back.
“It always felt like I never had the chance to really play for Launceston, and with a fresh coaching team it now feels like the perfect time to get stuck in.”
Welcome back, Tage! We can’t wait to see you back out there in black.
